Pour son nouveau projet Giovanni Mirabassi réunit un quartet explosif : le volcanique Guillaume Perret au saxophone, qui laisse ici loop et ampli de côté pour présenter un jeu exclusivement acoustique, le jeune talent Clément Daldosso à la contrebasse et l’excellent Lukmil Perez à la batterie.

Avec ce nouvel album, intitulé “The Swan and the Storm”, Giovanni Mirabassi travaille avec Guillaume Perret l’intensité d’un dialogue entre piano et saxophone. Entre toucher lyrique et souffle hypnotique, poésie et orage, Apollon et Dionysos, Giovanni Mirabassi compose un répertoire original inspiré par les bouleversements d'une époque incertaine.
